The Ministry of Electricity confirmed its readiness to receive the next summer in all sectors.
The spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Musa, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "there are great preparations, with the directive of the Prime Minister, to the Ministry of Electricity to prepare fully and in all sectors of electricity from production to transmission and distribution."
Moussa added, "The ministry has drawn up a plan and implemented it since last October, and of course the summer preparations require rehabilitation and completion of the periodic maintenance of the obstetric units in the production stations as well."
