Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Poliansky, announced today, Friday, that his deputy participated in the meeting of US President Joe Biden with the permanent representatives of the United Nations Security Council.
Dmitry Poliansky wrote on Twitter on Friday: "My deputy, Anna Evstinieva, was represented by Russia. She did not share a word."
The White House said in a statement today, Friday, that US President Joe Biden held a meeting with the permanent representatives of the United Nations Security Council, urging them to move quickly to resolve regional crises.
The US President indicated that his country wants to show "global leadership based on values" and reconnect with international institutions, especially the United Nations.
