    US embassy in Baghdad confirmed that the Pope's historic visit will shed light on the importance of Iraq.
    "Ambassador Tueller was honored to be among those who welcomed His Holiness Pope Francis at the presidential reception yesterday," the embassy said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
    The statement included, "The United States congratulates the government and people of Iraq for hosting the Pope and his accompanying delegation,"
