Iraq participates in the Liverpool World Conference

The University of Technology participated today, Tuesday, in the Liverpool International Conference.

The University of Technology stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that it “registered its attendance at the Liverpool International Conference represented by the faculty member Haider Adel Abdul Hamid, which was held by the University of Liverpool, the University of Leeds and Sharjah, with a scientific research under the title of a study on the feasibility of using nanoscale limestone. Egg shell ash as cement substitutes in environmentally friendly self-compaction concrete. "

He added, "The research aims to produce self-compaction concrete containing nanomaterials and with a low impact on the environment by recycling eggshells and studying the properties of that concrete and the effect of high temperatures on it."
