Hickey: Britain supports the government's plans towards financial reforms

Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi discussed today, Tuesday, with British Ambassador Stephen Hickey, ways of cooperation between the two countries in the financial aspect.

The media office of the Minister of Finance stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Allawi received the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Stephen Hickey, and during the meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries regarding the financial and economic aspect."

The Minister of Finance praised the "level of relationship with the United Kingdom and its support for the aspirations of the Iraqi people."
