The Ministry of Industry and Minerals revealed its plan today, Tuesday, to open a new factory and production lines, confirming the implementation of relief campaigns for cities and governorates that were affected by the floods.
A spokesman for the ministry, Mortada Al-Safi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a plan to open new factories and production lines during the coming period, within the short, medium and long-term plan adopted by the ministry."
He explained that "the ministry inaugurated the plastic bags factory, from the Minister of Industry," noting that "the woven plastic bags laboratory in the Cotton Industries Factory of the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries," was established from the allocations of the company's investment plan for the year 2012.
