Iraq condemns the attacks on Erbil

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA condemned on Wednesday, the Iranian attack on a number of sites in the Sidekan area in Erbil.

"The Iraqi Government condemns the Iranian attack on a number of sites in the Siddkan area in Erbil, Kurdistan region of Iraq," said the ministry in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The ministry asserted, "the emphasis on the constitutional content, that the Iraqi territory should not be used as an arena to threaten the security of neighboring countries,” stressing “the importance of rely on dialogues and its sustainability to confront challenges, especially security ones, in a manner that preserves Iraq’s sovereignty and enhances the security and stability of the region."
