Iraqi politician welcomes ICC’s issuance of arrest warrant for Netanyahu

    The leaders and political forces welcomed today, Thursday, t the issuance of an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court against the Prime Minister of the entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his Defense Minister, Yoav Galant.

    The head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The issuance by the International Criminal Court in The Hague of two arrest warrants against the head of the Zionist entity's government and its former Minister of War on charges of committing war crimes against humanity and using starvation as a weapon represents the establishment of justice and the fulfilment of the demands of millions of free people around the world.

    " He added, "While we welcome this decision, we urge that it be supported by other decisions that lead to ending the war imposed on Gaza and Lebanon, and holding the Israeli entity responsible for it and its legal, material and moral consequences, and forcing it to acknowledge its crimes that violated international charters and norms."
