Arab and international companies have expressed their desire for Maysan Sugar Factory

 The General Company for Food Industries confirmed that there are Arab and international companies that have expressed their desire to develop the Maysan Sugar Factory, indicating that operating the factory will employ the workforce and develop the economic wheel for the governorate.

 The general manager of the company, Muhammad Abdul-Jabbar, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday: "The company has completed the procedures of the investment file and fully modernized it, as investment is the most successful way to develop and operate the Maysan Sugar Factory."

 He added, "There are messages that have been submitted by large international and Arab companies that have expressed their desire to develop and operate the Maysan sugar plant and its farm," stressing that "negotiations are still going on with these companies."
