Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that it is in the process of legislating laws to develop agricultural realities and fair staff.
The ministry spokesman, Hamid Al-Masoudi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the ministry is waiting for legal legislation 35 and 24 to develop the agricultural sector," noting that "their legislation will contribute to providing job opportunities and increasing agricultural production in quantity and quality."
He explained that "Law 35 of 1983 was amended by a new law that will be issued soon after the completion of the necessary procedures for its legislation." He pointed out that "this law is very important as it allows farmers to contract for a period of 25 years instead of 5 years, in addition to owning land with an area of 5 dunums to 10 dunums and allowing investment Land for the purpose of constructing production plants, such as table eggs, chicken, or other ".
