Minister of Planning, Nuri al-Dulaimi, stressed that the national project will work to provide 100,000 job degrees in the private sector, as well as benefit from employee salaries.
Al-Dulaimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ministry recently launched the national project to employ one million people, as the project idea for this year will provide 100,000 job degrees in the private sector, which will work after 7-10 years to provide a million job degrees."
He added, "The drop in oil prices will move the project and its success," noting that "the country's rentier economy is based on oil imports, and that this project will do the private sector and move the wheel of the economy."
