The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the production of more than 12 million muzzle to supply the Ministry of Health and other ministries, while confirming its efforts to increase production rates to meet the local need in light of the Corona crisis.

The Ministry’s Undersecretary for Planning Affairs, Mutasim Al-Nuaimi, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the ministry had not opened any laboratory to produce masks, indicating that, since the outbreak of the virus outbreak, it had harnessed the production capacity of the textile and leather factories of the General Company for Textile and Leather located in Baghdad and the provinces of Babil and Najaf Wasit, Dhi Qar, Al-Diwaniyah and Nineveh to produce masks
