The Council of Ministers allocated its session to discuss efforts to combat the Corona Virus in Iraq.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that "the Council of Ministers held its meeting today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamer Al-Ghadban," noting that "the Council hosted the Command Committee (55 of 2020)".
The council added, "The council discussed ways to confront the new Corona virus in all of Iraq and take the necessary precautions to reduce its severity, in the presence of a number of governors in border provinces and the representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq."
The Council confirmed, according to the statement, "its support for the Ministry of Health and Environment and commended the efforts of the Commission Committee (55 of 2020)".
