Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Planning confirmed that the most important priorities for the Ministry's work are to implement the population census for the current year.
Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The implementation of the census is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Planning for this year, because of its great importance, because it will provide a comprehensive and complete database on the development reality, and thus will help to put Economic plans that will contribute to improving the service and living conditions of the population.
On the occasion of Teacher's Day, Al-Dulaimi called for "the importance of supporting this important segment, and providing it with possible means of support to perform its tasks to the fullest extent," stressing "the necessity to go beyond the mere celebration of this day, to make it a day to raise the voice of the Iraqi teacher and support him, and for the concerned authorities to listen to his developmental and creative proposals in Various educational sectors, and including them in the annual work plan. "
