Al-Halbousi discusses with Toller the joint cooperation

Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed today, Saturday, with US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toller bilateral relations between the two countries.

A statement of Al-Halbousi office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, discussed during his meeting with the American Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toler the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support Iraq, and enhance cooperation in the security and economic fields in accordance with mutual interests.

The statement indicated that the meeting also discussed developments in the political situation in the country, and a number of topics of common concern.
