PM: Iraq supports efforts to prevent the spread of the Corona virus

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi confirmed today, Sunday, that Iraq supports all efforts to prevent the spread of Corona virus and provide effective treatment to eliminate it.

"The Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, sent a telegram to the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang, in his name and on behalf of the Iraqi people, expressed his solidarity with China is a leadership and people in confronting Corona virus, stressing its high confidence in China's ability to overcome this crisis and its success in taking measures that reduce its risk to the friendly Chinese people.

He added that "Iraq stands with the Republic of China and the rest of the countries and the International Health Organization to support efforts to prevent the spread of this disease and to provide effective treatment to eliminate it."
