Today, Monday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals confirmed that it has the capacity to produce military equipment of high specifications.

A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "The Minister of Industry, Salih Abdullah al-Jabouri and Defense Najah al-Shammari, were aware of the great potentials and capabilities of the General Company for Copper and Mechanical Industries in the manufacture of guns, launchers, mortars and the production of cannons (122) mm and (130) Mm and (155) mm and launchers (4 and 6 missiles) and mortars (120) mm within the jurisdiction and activity of the company in the military field. "

He added that "the general company of the ministry has an integrated factory that contains Western lines, machines and equipment for the manufacture and production of cannons, launchers and mortars and has the ability to meet the needs of ministries and security institutions in accordance with internationally approved specifications."
