The Minister of Planning, Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi and the German charge d'affaires Euchen Muller discussed strengthening relations to serve the common interests of both countries.
"Al-Dulaimi praised the distinguished role of the German government and its support for Iraq in various fields, stressing the importance of activating joint cooperation agreements, especially with Siemens Company and strengthening the system of decentralization in cooperation With the German Agency for International Development (GIZ), providing possible support to the private sector,” included a statement of the Ministry.
During the meeting, they also discussed joint cooperation with the German side in the rehabilitation and development of Iraqi staff in the public and private sectors in addition to provide more job opportunities for young people via active German projects in Iraq.
For his part, Muller praised the level of cooperation between Iraq and Germany in various fields, and stressing his country's readiness to provide all kinds of support to the government and the Iraqi people.
