Head of Iraqi delegation participating NATO meeting Basheer al-Haddad discussed the recent updates in the region with other participated delegations, in London.
Separate meetings were held during the event between UK, Australia and Turkish delegations and al-Haddad that discussed Turkish military operations in the north of Syria in addition to the IDPs from those areas and the influence it sheds on Iraq.
Al-Haddad asserted the importance of the relations and ties between Iraq and the member states in NATO to maintain peace and stability.
“Iraq needs the international support in military, security and economic fields, as well as developing the military and defence units of Iraqi Armed forces,” said al-Haddad.
