Al-Maliki and Al-Amiri discuss the latest political developments

Nouri al-Maliki, head of ‘State of Law Coalition’ discussed on Sunday with Hadi Al-Amiri, head of ‘Fatah Alliance’ the latest political, financial, and security developments; locally and regionally.

A statement (which Ina received a copy of) said: “Al-Maliki received at his office head of ‘Fatah Alliance’ Hadi Al-Amiri, and they discussed the latest developments”. The statement added: “the two sides stressed upon the unity of the national position in the face of challenges, the preservation of the country’s sovereignty and security, the need to activate government performance, the primacy of national interest, and focusing all efforts to serve Iraq and its people”.
