Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim on Thursday discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi coordination regional and international issues.
A statement issued by foreign ministry said that Al-Hakim met with Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi and discussed bilateral cooperation frameworks and the importance of raising the momentum of strategic coordination between Baghdad and Amman.
The two sides exchanged views on means of activating joint Arab action in facing challenges, enhancing stability in the region and priorities of the next phase in Islamic and Arab summits which take place in Mecca, the statement said.
