President Salih: It is important to make mutual work and join efforts between politicians

INA - BAGHDAD

President Barham Salih received the Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project Sheikh Jamal al-Dhari and a number of members from Baghdad Provincial Council, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad.

During the meeting, Salih highlighted the need for coordinating mutual efforts and joint action among political parties in order to preserve national unity and peaceful coexistence among all spectra of Iraqi people.

He asserted the importance of the unity of ranks to ensure the citizens’ rights to a free and dignified life.

The President stressed on the need to improve the status of the city of Baghdad and develop it as well as to provide the best services to its inhabitants.

For their part, the visiting delegation lauded the President’s efforts in converging views of all parties and his keenness to follow up the service projects of the capital Baghdad.
