The Saudi astronomer Mohammed Reza Al-Asfour said that the sun will rise above the Kaaba next Tuesday, and the sun will be 90 degrees higher than the horizon of Mecca to disappear the shadow of the Kaaba at the moment of raising the ears of the back.
Al-Asfour added that this phenomenon is used to determine the direction of the Qibla accurately from anywhere around the world by erecting a stick perpendicular to the flat ground at the time of stalling, where the opposite direction of the shadow will be the Qibla direction.
This phenomenon is repeated twice a year during the annual solar movement between the summer and winter and the transition from the equator to the Cancer Center at the end of May and mid-July each year on 28 and 14 July.
