The Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Al Halbusi received on Wednesday the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq Pradip Singh Raj Boruhith. During the meeting, according to a statement received by his office INA they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas, including parliamentary relations.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives during the meeting on the need to encourage large Indian companies to invest in Iraq in the areas of housing, technology and health, praising the cooperation of the Indian government in granting visas to Iraqis.
The Indian ambassador, in turn, expressed his country's readiness to increase cooperation with Iraq.
