The social networking sites are full of news and information and must be confirmed before publication, said Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the representative of the religious authority, during a Friday prayer sermon declared. The electronic publication is like a stray bullet if there is no scrutiny.

He added that the detection of corruption through social networking sites excluded from the provisions of absence, calling for not to publish news on the privacy of others through social networking sites, Karbalai also called for not to publish videos and documents that damage the community, even if accurate.

The religious authority warned of the phenomenon of electronic extortion practiced by some of the weak souls and exploitation of the privacy of citizens and not afford the opportunity for the offenders to penetrate their privacy.
