Al Halbousi receives the British Ambassador

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbousi received on Tuesday British Ambassador to Iraq John Wilkes.

According to the statement of the Information Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives received by the Iraqi News Agency , during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, and the emphasis on continued cooperation between Iraq and the United Kingdom in the field of security and energy.

Al Halbousi called on the United Kingdom to support Iraq's efforts in the reconstruction, investment and reconstruction of liberated and underserved cities and meet the requirements of the government program, which will contribute to enhancing security and stability.
