The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on Sunday strongly condemned what it described as U.S.-Israeli aggression against Arab countries, warning that the escalation poses a serious threat to regional stability.
In a statement cited by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Hamas said: “We strongly condemn the brutal Israeli aggression against our brotherly Arab nations—Lebanon and Syria—as well as the ongoing U.S. attacks on Yemen, which are an extension of the continuous aggression against our people in Gaza and the West Bank, in blatant violation of state sovereignty and international law.”
The movement further stressed that “the continued Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon and Syria, coupled with intensified U.S. attacks on Yemen, alongside the daily massacres in Gaza and Israeli crimes in the West Bank, represent a dangerous escalation.”
Hamas called for a unified Arab and Islamic stance “commensurate with the scale of this assault, to put an end to the enemy’s arrogance and ongoing crimes.” The group also expressed full solidarity with Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria, saluting all resistance forces defending Palestine and the dignity of the Arab and Islamic nations.
