Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani visited the National Pension Authority and issued number of directives.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement, received by the Iraqi news agency-INA that “Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani visited the National Pension Authority and issued the following directives:
1- Disbursement of the Fifth Batch of Pension Salaries for former Iraqi Army personnel before Eid al-Fitr, with the completion of the sixth batch immediately afterward, ensuring the final closure of this file.
2- Payment of Financial Adjustments for injured members of the security forces.
3- Formation of a Committee to finalize the pension procedures for the remaining POWs from the 1991 war.
5-Deployment of a Joint Committee from the National Pension Authority and the Martyrs’ Foundation to Anbar Governorate to resolve pension cases of terrorism victims. This includes verifying and disbursing outstanding payments for eligible pensioners in Anbar, similar to other governorates.
