PM invites Planet Company to visit Iraq and cooperate on climate and geographic issues

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, today, Saturday, extended an invitation to Planet Company, specialized in maps and geology, to visit Iraq and cooperate on climate and geographic issues and conduct comprehensive surveys.

The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the CEO of Planet Company, specialized in maps and geology, Will Marshall and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of his participation in the 61st Munich Security Conference."

He added that "during the meeting, the possibility of cooperation with the company in many exploratory and climate fields was discussed, in light of the government's orientation towards developing the industrial sector, by investing in natural resources, in light of Iraq's reserves of mineral wealth, especially sulfur and phosphate, and others."

According to the statement, Al-Sudani invited the company to “visit Iraq to cooperate on climate and geographic issues and conduct comprehensive surveys in order to secure an integrated database that serves the investment of natural resources.”
