Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Tuesday, the envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan.
The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the envoy of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan, in the presence of the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq," noting that "during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them were discussed."
"The Kuwaiti envoy conveyed the greetings of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Prime Minister, and his country's satisfaction with the approach taken by the Iraqi government to resolve common files with his country."
According to the statement "the meeting witnessed an emphasis on the continuation of dialogue between the two brotherly countries, as it is the best way to settle the remaining files, as they will be discussed during the meetings of the joint technical committees that will start soon," noting that "the next stage will witness more bilateral dialogues and discussions."
