The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed today, Monday, Iraq's keenness to develop relations with Kuwait.
The media office of the President of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Hassan Muhammad Al-Zaman, and during the meeting, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed."
The President of the Republic affirmed "Iraq's keenness to develop these relations and expand areas of economic cooperation," referring to "the investment opportunities available in Iraq."
He pointed out "the need to exert more international efforts to enhance security and stability at the regional and international levels."
In turn, the Ambassador confirmed "the depth of historical relations between the two countries," noting "the State of Kuwait's endeavor to expand areas of bilateral cooperation in various fields."
