Oil prices rose in trading on Friday, after falling yesterday after US President Donald Trump reiterated his intention to reduce energy costs in the United States.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose by 0.44% to $70.92 a barrel, while spot contracts rose by 0.54% to $74.69 a barrel, according to trading.
In trading yesterday, Thursday, black gold prices fell, with US crude contracts recording $70.61 a barrel, down 0.6%, and Brent contracts reaching $74.29 a barrel, down 0.45%.
