The Ministerial Council stresses the importance of coordination in the field of technical, defense and electronic industries

    The Ministerial Council for National Security stressed, today, Wednesday, the importance of coordination in the field of technical, defense and electronic industries.

    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah Al-Numan, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, chaired the periodic meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, during which the overall security situation in the country was discussed, and a number of topics on the agenda, and the necessary decisions and recommendations were taken regarding them."

    The statement added that "the meeting witnessed the directive to the Ministry of Interior to support the operations room for radiological and nuclear emergencies through the National Center for Crisis and Disaster Management in the ministry." The statement continued, "The Council, in another axis, discussed the visit of a delegation from the Military Industrialization Authority to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its review of the products of the defense industry affiliated with the Pakistani Strategic Command. 

    The Council directed the importance of coordination in the field of technical, defense and electronic industries, and the Authority's submission of a list to the ministries that includes the capabilities of the Military Industrialization Authority in manufacturing electronic devices and equipment for the purpose of benefiting from them."

    The Council confirmed - according to the statement - "the coordination between the Military Industrialization Authority and the Ministry of Defense for the purpose of handing over all war remnants sites to the Authority."
