The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced on Monday, sheltering 18 batches of returnees from Al-Hol camp, stressing that no security breaches were recorded in their areas.

Undersecretary Karim al-Nouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Al-Hol camps in Hasaka are located about 13 kilometers northeast of Syria, and they have existed for a long time," noting that "the war against ISIS terrorist gangs prompted many people to flee to the camp, which includes about 60,000 Iraqis and foreigners."

"Iraq is the first country to be able, through a specialized security committee, to scrutinize the files of returnees and house 18 batches of them at the Al-Amal Center for Community Rehabilitation in Al-Jadaa, and the rehabilitation procedures were implemented in cooperation with 11 international organizations, and with the support of the National Security Advisor and the Ministry of Health, as well as specialists and psychologists, which helped return many displaced people to their areas without recording any security breaches there," al-Nouri said.
