A delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities discussed with the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication in the Kingdom of Morocco the formation of a joint working group to activate bilateral protocols.
" Iraqi cultural delegation headed by the Director General of the Department of Public Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, member of the Permanent Committee for Arab Culture, Alaa Abu Al-Hassan Ismail, met with the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication in the Kingdom of Morocco, Mohamed Mehdi Ben Saeed, on the sidelines of the conference of ministers responsible for cultural affairs in the Arab world in the capital, Rabat,” A statement by the Ministry of Culture received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Friday, stated.
It added that "the two sides discussed future cultural plans and projects between the two cultural institutions and stressed the need to form a joint cultural working team to work according to the previously concluded bilateral cultural protocols, and to benefit from the exchange of experiences and capacity building for cultural cadres in Iraq and the Kingdom of Morocco."
The statement indicated that "the head of the Iraqi delegation offered his congratulations to the Moroccan cultural sector for assuming the presidency of the Arab Ministerial Conference for the next two years," expressing "the Iraqi Cultural Institution's readiness to support the Arab cultural effort in a way that contributes to the glory and sustainability of the brilliance of Arab culture."
