The deceased was known for his national stances, his opposition to dictatorship, and his dedicated efforts to strengthen Iraq’s democratic experience after 2003.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani offered his condolences on the passing of the political and media figure, Karim Badr.".
The Prime Minister directed the government to arrange the transportation of his body to Iraq for burial in the soil of his beloved homeland, to which he devoted his life and service.
We pray to the Almighty for his mercy and forgiveness and offer heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
