The head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh al-Fayyadh, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, stressed today, Tuesday, the importance of enhancing joint security coordination between the center and the region.
A statement by the Media Directorate of the Popular Mobilization, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh al-Fayyadh, met in Erbil with the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani."
The statement added that "the meeting discussed the general situation and the latest developments and developments on the Iraqi and regional arenas."
The statement indicated that "the two sides stressed the importance of enhancing joint security coordination between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, which contributes to maintaining security and stability in the country."
