The Communications and Media Commission )CMC( called on Sunday to devote time on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army and police.
"To commemorate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi army and the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the heroic Iraqi police, we call for allocating time for these two occasions,” CMC said in a statement addressed to all media institutions and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Necessity of appreciating the efforts made by our security forces in preserving the security of our beloved country, showcasing their heroism on the battlefield, and immortalizing their sacrifices as they confront the forces of terrorism, and their giving of their most precious possessions in order to protect our country,” CMC stressed .
