Iraq and Kuwait stress strengthening cooperation ties

    The Iraqi-Kuwaiti Technical and Legal Committee confirmed on Monday the strengthening of cooperation ties.

    "The seventh meeting of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Technical and Legal Committee was held in Baghdad headed by the Iraqi side, Chairman of the Supreme Committee, Ambassador Abdul Karim Hashim, and Deputy National Security Advisor Essam Al-Saadi, while the Kuwaiti delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah," according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    During the meeting, they reviewed and discussed the latest developments related to the committee's work, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation "to achieve tangible progress in this file."

    The statement included the following: " The two parties exchanged views to reach a common technical vision, which would lead to understandings that serve the interests of the two countries."

    They highlighted the strength of the fraternal relations between Iraq and Kuwait, as the two sides showed "keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation, in a way that serves common interests and enhances stability in the region."
