Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stressed today, Monday, the importance of continuing joint coordination to ensure the unity of Syrian territory.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani held phone discussions today, Monday, with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The talks focused on the latest developments in Syria and the repercussions of the situation on the region.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of continuing joint coordination and enhancing Arab communication to ensure the unity of Syrian territories and uphold the sovereignty of this brotherly nation.
The call also reflected a shared vision regarding respect for the free will of the Syrian people in all their ethnic, religious, cultural, and social diversity. The two leaders reiterated their support for all efforts that contribute to security and stability in Syria and the region.
