INA - Baghdad The Iraqi cabinet has approved the project of war-base industries, the cabinet. The cabinet passed this draft law that has been vetted by the Council of State to the Iraqi parliament. This came according to the articles NO. 61, Chapter one and article NO.80, Chapter two of the Iraq constitution. The law also came to support the national security and employing the local expertise to contribute enhancing the workflow of the security and war departments. Specialized factories are to be built and rehabilitated in order to start an Iraqi war-base industry. It will be equipped with modern technological devices as it will help to improve the private sector as well as providing active participation in war industries. This would help to fulfil the need of weapons, arms as it will also enhance the local economy and reduce the imports.
