Reuters: Bashar al-Assad Departs Damascus for Unknown Destination

    Two officers told Reuters that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad left the country on an airplane headed to an unknown destination.
     
    The Syrian opposition announced early Sunday that it had begun entering Damascus, hours after taking control of Homs, the third-largest city in Syria.
