Iraq’s Minister of Trade, Dr. Mohammed Hashim Al-Ani, to head the Iraqi delegation to the works of the ministerial meeting of the economic and social council at the Arab League due to be held in Cairo on Thursday.
Iraq’s delegation to the meetings of the high ranking officials headed by Adil Al-Masoudi, director general of the external economic relations directorate, has handed the chairmanship of the economic and social council to Emad al-Ajmi, representative Oman Sultanate, during the Council’s meeting on the high-ranking officials level, on Tuesday, which discussed the approval of an agreement on transit transportation among Arab countries.
A statement by the Ministry, which INA received a copy of, said that Al-Ani to head the Iraqi delegation to the works of the 103rd regular session of the economic and social council at the Arab League, after heading the Iraqi delegation to the works of the 102nd regular session and the extraordinary session of the economic and social council that preceded the economic and social development summit held in Beirut, Lebanon recently.
