A parliamentary delegation from the Parliamentary Agriculture, Water and Marshlands Committee discussed on Monday in Warsaw, Poland, mechanisms to support investment projects and ways to enhance cooperation in the agricultural, industrial and commercial fields.
"A parliamentary delegation headed by MP Falih Al-Khazaali, and members of the Parliamentary Agriculture, Water and Marshlands Committee, accompanied by the Parliamentary Economy, Industry and Trade Committee, visited the Iraqi embassy in Warsaw, Poland. They were received by the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy, Ahmed Amin, and the advance team at the embassy," said the Media Department of the Parliament in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Iraq and Poland in the agricultural, industrial and commercial fields, as well as mechanisms to support agricultural investment projects "in a way that contributes to enhancing Iraq's non-oil revenues," addressing the role of the attachés in encouraging companies and investors to enter the Iraqi market and invest in the available agricultural and industrial opportunities.
Al-Khazaali stressed, "the importance of holding trade fairs to promote Iraqi products, especially dates, which are distinguished by their unique taste," noting, "the government's orientation to support various economic sectors as part of the strategy to diversify the economy."
In turn, the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy, Ahmed Amin, expressed his support for developing relations between the two countries, noting, "the embassy's efforts to encourage Polish companies to participate in conferences and exhibitions held in Iraq, to facilitate the procedures for granting entry visas to support economic, agricultural and industrial cooperation between the two countries."
