President Rashid meets the US Ambassador to Iraq

President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed, today, Sunday, the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Iraq and the United States of America.
 
The media department of the Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today, Sunday, at the Baghdad Palace, the US Ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanski, on the occasion of the end of her work duties."
 
  "At the beginning of the meeting, the President expressed his wishes for Romanski success in her upcoming mission, stressing "the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries according to paths that include the energy, education and economic sectors, in addition to the political and security fields."
In turn, Romanski stressed - according to the statement - her country's continuation of joint cooperation with Iraq in all fields in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and contributes to the stability of the region.
