PM oversees the progress of launching ‘Eduba’ School Building project

    INA - BAGHDAD

    PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani chaired on Monday the regular meeting of the Iraq Development Fund Management Board.

    During the meeting, they reviewed the steps to implement the “Eduba” school building project, one of the Iraq Development Fund’s projects, as well as the final qualification of companies that submitted bids to participate and begin construction, according to a statement by the PM Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    Al-Sudani emphasized the government’s reliance on the projects of the Iraq Development Fund, along with its affiliate funds, to engage the private sector, expand its contribution to national output, create job opportunities, address infrastructure needs, and reduce the time required for these projects.

    The meeting also discussed advancing the partnership with Al-Suwaidi Group, based on the signed Memorandum of Understanding, and identifying the location of the industrial city to be established in partnership between the Iraq Development Fund and the Egyptian group.

    They covered steps to support Iraqi companies, develop their operations, and enable them to work both within Iraq and internationally under the “Made in Iraq” initiative.
