    Manchester United returned to the path of victories in the English Premier League, today, Saturday, after defeating its guest Brentford (2-1) in the eighth round.

    Manchester United managed to achieve their first win in official competitions after stumbling in 5 consecutive matches between the English and European leagues, as they drew against Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Twente and Porto, and lost to Tottenham.

    Manchester United fell behind in the first half against Brentford after a goal scored by Ethan Pinnock in the 45+5 minute, and in the second half, coach Erik ten Hag's team managed to correct its situation thanks to a brace from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, respectively, in the 47th and 62nd minutes, respectively.

    The victory raised Manchester United's score to 11 points in tenth place in the English Premier League, while Brentford remained with 10 points, dropping to twelfth place.
