President Salih Apologizes from Participating in Davos

    INA - BAGHDAD

    Iraqi President Barham Salih apologized on Tuesday from participating in the Davos Forum due to sensitive situations in Iraq and the region. 

    In a statement on Tuesday to the INA the spokesman for the Iraqi President, Lukman Faily, said that ‘President Salih has extended an apology from participating in theAnnual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, due to the sensitive situations in Iraq and the region.

    ‘The President,’ Faily added ‘wishes the Davos forum best of success in achieving tangible results.’
