Minister of Transportation, Abdulla Laibi met Spain ambassador to Iraq, Juan Escobar on Monday.
Both have discussed the possibility to resume the flights between Baghdad and Madrid in addition to facilitate the transportation movement and trading between the two countries.
“We have discussed the resumption of the Iraqi Airlines flights and the participation of the Spanish companies in the projects of the railways,” stated Laibi.
He also explained that Iraq is looking forward to mutual cooperation to improve transportation in the country and making future investment plans.
