Coach and technical analyst Bassam Raouf stressed the importance of our national team's match today against its Palestinian counterpart, as part of the journey to qualify for the World Cup, stressing the need for the fans to support the team.
Raouf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Thursday: "This meeting represents a decisive station, and the players and fans must deal with it seriously and with focus," noting that reaching the World Cup finals begins today.
Raouf explained that “the players’ complete dedication and focus on the pitch are decisive factors in achieving victory,” stressing that “the fans play an equally important role through their continuous encouragement and great support. This cohesion between the players and the fans will create a positive atmosphere that pushes the team towards achieving positive results.”
Raouf continued, "Reaching the World Cup requires collective effort and cooperation between all concerned parties, calling on everyone to commit and show solidarity to achieve this important goal and fulfil the aspirations of the Iraqi masses."
